Please join us for an informative and informal “brown bag” lunch discussion with judges from the Los Angeles Superior Court's Complex Civil Litigation program and Complex Court Practitioners regarding opportunities for new lawyers to gain court time experience. Topics will include: (1) The right (and wrong) court proceedings for newer lawyers to gain experience; (2) Best practices for senior lawyers to supervise newer lawyers in court; (3) The benefits of providing opportunities for newer lawyers to get “court time”; (4) Dealing with client concerns; and (5) Court trends for providing “court time” opportunities.
