How Not To Blow Your Mediation

Program Presented by the Labor & Employment Law Section.  Hosted by Judicate West

Program Description:

In recent years, lawyers have become very familiar with mediation, but surprisingly many lawyers still have trouble getting out of trial dog mode and, as a result, fail to get the most out of the process for their clients.  They leave money on the table.  It doesn't have to be this way.  In this fast paced program, renowned mediators from Judicate West will provide you with specific and practical tips and advice to turn every mediation into a productive and constructive process that achieves the best possible results for your clients.  Drawing from decades of experience mediating employment disputes of all sizes, shapes and colors, Mike Young, Kelly Knight and Angela Reddock-Wright, some of the top employment mediators in the State, pull no punches in giving you candid advice about what works and what doesn't in mediations including key do's and don'ts.  This program goes beyond the basic and delves into some of the more subtle and intricate maneuvers in the mediation process that can make the difference between a dream mediation….and a nightmare.
