Program Description: This program will include a review of hot topics affecting the practice of immigration law today presented by expert practitioners in the field, including:

• Updates on I-601A/I-212 (Raul Godinez); 
• Using TPS for Adjustment of Status and NIV (Camiel Becker); 
• Updates on Local Procedures at LADO: Database Searches, Motions to reopen, I-130 Unit, Emergency Advance Paroles, I-551 Stamps and Immigration Court Cases (Mary Mucha); 
• Most Common Grounds of Removability and Defenses: Aggravated Felony, CIMT, Controlled Substance, Fraud, False Claims to US Citizenship, INA §237(a)(h) / LPR/Non-LPR Cancellation, INA §212(h) / INA §212(c) (Mathew Millen); and
• Immigration Attorney’s Roadmap for Representing Detained Clients: Bonds, Handling Criminal History, Handling Fraudulent Documents, Reading DHS Documents (Sabrina Damast and Mackenzie Mackins).
