**POSTPONED*** Leaders in the Law

A first-generation Taiwanese-American who almost became California’s first Asian-American governor.  The country’s first Asian-American United States Attorney.  And one of the founding members of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association - the only APA bar association representing APA lawyers on a national level.

Come join us for a frank discussion – moderated by the first South Asian woman on the bench in the state of California -- of what it means to be a trailblazer in the truest sense of the word.  What inspired these trailblazers to break the mold, defy the naysayers, and surge ahead to become leaders in the legal community?  And what can we do to ensure that we capitalize on the strides that they’ve made?

Rupa Goswami, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge
