2nd Annual Sorrell Trope Family Law Trial Institute Program

This year’s program will feature Roger Dodd, a nationally-recognized trial attorney and trial consultant, speaking on courtroom-tested techniques for developing direct and cross-examination.

Please join us for an informative and practical program aimed at improving trial advocacy skills.  This year’s program will feature Roger Dodd, a nationally-recognized trial attorney and trial consultant, speaking on courtroom-tested techniques for developing direct and cross-examination.  Mr. Dodd will be followed by mock-trial presentations demonstrating direct and cross-examination of party and expert witnesses on the issues of support and custody using the methods taught by Mr. Dodd.  Learn how to deal with non-responsive witnesses, control runaway witnesses, and effectively cross-exam using techniques such as “chapters”, “loops,” and “trilogies”.  Panels consisting of experienced Bench and Bar members will also address presentation of expert testimony in light of the Sanchez case and the do's and don'ts of effective advocacy from the Court's perspective.
