Program Description:
This panel will address the rapidly evolving legal requirements for the collection, use, sharing, and protection of sensitive information of consumers and employees, and how those requirements present issues of particular concern to the entertainment industry. The panelists will address the European Union General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act, other proposed state privacy legislation, industry self-regulation, and the forecast with respect to a federal comprehensive privacy law.
