The vapor intrusion pathway is commonly a key potential exposure pathway that is considered during environmental site assessments and corrective action planning for sites impacted by volatile contaminants. CalEPA recently issued a draft Supplemental Vapor Intrusion Guidance for public comment that is expected to have a significant impact on strategies used for the investigation and remediation at these sites. This expert panel will provide a technical, regulatory, and legal perspective of the draft guidance and the implications for site cleanup and redevelopment.
