Program Description
This informative three-part program will cover Ethics, Elimination of Bias and Competence.  More than ever,  we have tried to include in the ethics program the most pressing issues based on input from you, the So Cal AILA/LACBA Immigration Section membership.  Following Legal Ethics, Attorney Jon Light will present an Elimination of Bias program on the timely topic of work place sexual harassment prevention.  Lastly, we will wind down with a Competence program on mindfulness.  
Packed with information and opportunities to question the experts, the program’s objective is to impart relevant, useful information on how to understand and apply the rules of ethics.  We will provide a sample conflict waiver for use in the affidavit of support context.  Each section of the program will, in its own way, improve the quality of the work we do. We look forward to seeing you there.
