Designed specifically for attorneys who have no trial experience, this course provides introductory trial advocacy instruction, emphasizing participant mock trial performance and constructive feedback. Participants receive instruction on trial skills and perform several phases of a jury trial. This 3-week course is taught 4 times a year, in January, March, May, and September. Two weekday evenings from 6:00-8:30 p.m.
There are no prerequisites or interviews for course admission. Due to the performance aspect of this course, each session is limited to 14 people per class. Cost: LACBA Members: $995 Non-Members: $1,195 CLE: 15 hours of participatory MCLE credit and 1 hour of ethics credit.
