13th Annual Minor's Counsel Training

Minor’s Counsel In Unprecedented Times; Know Your Toolbox

Because of the ongoing public health crisis, LACBA’s 2020 Minor’s Counsel Training Program will be offered virtually, as an ON DEMAND webinar. The 2020 Minor’s Counsel training program will be available for purchase from October 3, 2020 through November 2, 2020. Registrants will have up to 30 days after purchase to complete the program. New/first-time Minor’s Counsel participants should register for the 12-hour program (which includes 4 hours of intro/primer content), and returning Minor’s Counsel participants should register for the 8-hour program.

Please Note: The intro/primer section of the 2020 12-hour program is being replayed from the 2019 training program.If you previously attended or viewed that portion, you should not claim CLE credit for that portion with the State Bar of California again.

This program complies with the educational training requirements of Rule of Court Rule 5.242 and Rule 7.1101 and satisfies local requirements in both Family Court and Probate Court.

This program provides 8.25 hours (for returning Minor’s Counsel participants)*or 12.25 hours (for new/first-time Minor’s Counsel participants)* CLE credit, including 1 Hr. Elimination of Bias credit.

This program is eligible for Family Law Legal Specialization Credit, and Trust and Probate Law Legal Specialization Credit.

*New/first-time Minor’s Counsel participants should register for the 12-hour program, and returning Minor’s Counsel participants should register for the 8-hour program
