 Program Description:

This dynamic employment law panel moderated by ADA expert and mediator David Geffen, features prominent attorneys V. James DeSimone (plaintiff) and Nancy Yaffe (management), addressing cutting edge ADA/FEHA reasonable accommodation issues in employment, including:

  •    Disability Leave: How long is too long?
  •    Interactive Process Communications:  If there is no documentation, do they exist?
  •    Undue Hardship:  When is it too hard to accommodate?
  •    Assistive Technology: How does new technology change what's reasonable?

The panel discussion will include ongoing questions and sharing from the attendees.

Do not park in the building.  Parking will not be validated. The fee for parking reaches $32 quickly. 

Parking is available at the Century City Westfield shopping mall, across Avenue of the Stars to the west. $1.00 for first 3 hours, but note the mall is under construction and it may take additional time to park and get to the program. Rates increase after 3 hours to a maximum of $28. It is a 5-minute walk to 1900 Avenue of the Stars.
