Advise & Consent: A Primer to the Federal Judicial Appointment Process Presented by the Appellate Courts Section

Program Description:

This program will discuss the theory and practice of federal judicial selection, from the founding to the present day.  It will examine how the process has evolved and touch on recent controversies and proposals for reform.  It will also feature discussion with current members of the federal judiciary who can offer a nominee's perspective on the process.
