Family Law Advocacy Training (FLAT) Program Series - Section 2: Disclosures and Discovery; Part 5: “Financial Disclosures”

Program Description

Commencing November 10, 2021, the LACBA Family Law Section will start a 16-part bi-weekly program series entitled Family Law Advocacy Training (FLAT) Program Series. The LACBA Family Law Section will provide practical training to family law practitioners, statewide. The purpose of FLAT is to teach family law attorneys how to effectively and professionally practice family law. The 16 programs are broken into four Sections, which are set forth below. The 2021-2022 programs will start in November and end in June, with two bi-weekly Sessions/month on the second and fourth Wednesday in November and December, and the first and third Wednesday starting in January, 4 Sessions each Section, totaling 16 Sessions.

The four Sections are:
1. Commencement of the Case (November-December)
2. Discovery (January-February)
3. Trial (March-April)
4. Appeal. (May-June)

The 2021-22 Family Law Advocacy Training program (FLAT) will focus on practical training for family law attorneys who seek to enhance their skills. Potential Sponsors don’t miss this opportunity to share your services and products with family law practitioners.
